Our coats are are designed to insulate your dog, trapping warm air and body heat radiating from the dog. That is illustrated by the thicker than usual wadding of our ever popular tartan blanket coat. Traditional chest and body fixings and touch and close velcro could also be widely used. Complete with showerproof properties, safety reflective features, blanket design, velcro straps and elasticated leg straps.

Chest means girth , so the measurement across the dogs body , just in the back of the front legs.        
You wish to measure between the neck and base of tail of their dog in order to make a choice the right kind size.        
Neck measurement is approximate as the velcro fastening means there may be slight room for adjustment.
